These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BookMyCab's website, web application, mobile applications and cab booking services. By registering an account, placing a booking or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. About BookMyCab

BookMyCab Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. is a technology-enabled ground transportation company operating since 2001. We provide corporate cab booking, employee transportation, airport/railway transfers, outstation trips and related mobility services across 50+ cities in India. We operate as a platform connecting verified cab vendors and drivers with individual and corporate customers.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to register and use our Services.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration.
  • Corporate accounts are managed by designated administrators; the employing organisation is responsible for all bookings made under its account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Bookings

  • A booking is confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation (SMS/email) with a trip reference number.
  • Fares displayed at the time of booking are estimates; final charges may vary based on actual distance, waiting time, toll charges and applicable taxes.
  • Bookings made through corporate accounts are subject to the rate charts agreed in your corporate contract.
  • We reserve the right to modify or cancel a booking if a vehicle or driver is unavailable due to reasons beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes or government restrictions. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
  • Any changes to a confirmed booking (pickup time, location) must be communicated to us at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled pickup.

4. Payments

  • Payments may be made online via our payment gateway (Razorpay), by cheque/NEFT/RTGS for corporate accounts, or in cash to the driver where permitted.
  • All prices are inclusive of GST unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • Corporate accounts on credit terms are invoiced monthly or as per the agreed billing cycle. Invoices are due within the credit period stated on the invoice.
  • Delayed payments on corporate accounts attract interest at 18% per annum from the due date.
  • We issue GST-compliant tax invoices. Provide your GST number at the time of account creation to ensure invoices are correctly raised.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are governed by our separate Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. User Responsibilities

  • Passengers must be ready at the confirmed pickup location at the scheduled time.
  • You are responsible for the safety and behaviour of all passengers travelling under your booking.
  • Smoking, consumption of alcohol and carrying prohibited substances are strictly not permitted in any vehicle.
  • Any damage caused to the vehicle by passengers will be charged to the account holder.
  • You must not use our Services for any unlawful purpose.
  • You must not attempt to access, reverse-engineer or disrupt any part of our technology platform.

7. Vendor & Driver Obligations

Cab services are fulfilled by independent cab vendors and drivers empanelled by BookMyCab. While we verify credentials and maintain quality standards, vendors and drivers are independent contractors and not employees of BookMyCab. BookMyCab acts as a platform and technology facilitator.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • BookMyCab's total liability arising from any single incident shall not exceed the fare paid for that specific trip.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, third-party actions or force majeure events.
  • We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings left in a vehicle.
  • We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages of any kind.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and application — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software and the BookMyCab name and mark — is the exclusive property of BookMyCab Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our written consent.

10. Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India. We encourage resolution of disputes through our customer support team before initiating legal proceedings.
